Kalu Yala Financial Aid
Want to join us in the jungle, but having trouble swinging tuition? We're here for you. There are so many ways to afford Kalu Yala, and none of them involve debt or interest.
Kalu Yala is proud to offer Financial Aid to students on a needs-basis. Applying for FA will not impact your eligibility for acceptance into the Institute. If you're passionate about sustainability, we want you here– and we'll work with you to make it happen.
Courses eligible for Kalu Yala financial aid packages include any academic program beginning with the Spring 2018 Semester. Those eligible for Financial Aid include:
HOW TO APPLY
All applicants must submit the following:
- Application to the Kalu Yala Institute.
- Kalu Yala Financial Aid request form (download below.)
- Your most recent 1040 tax return form. Applicants who are dependents must also submit their parent or guardian's most recent 1040 form. In lieu of a 1040 form, non-U.S students must include official documentation (tax forms) stating annual income.
Please complete the application form (download below) manually and submit a scanned copy with any additional information as applicable to email@example.com within two weeks (14 days) of your completed application to Kalu Yala to be considered for a financial aid package.

Kalu Yala accepts students on a rolling admissions basis. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. Our recommended dates by which to submit Institute applications, Financial Aid applications, and all relevant additional materials are as follows:
Applications will be reviewed within ten business days of receipt of the completed application. When a decision has been made, notification will be emailed from firstname.lastname@example.org. Any financial assistance awards will not be dispersed in the form of cash but in the reduction from an admitted student’s remaining tuition balance.
